At the moment, the Institute is located in five different centres in Nigeria.

Administrative Headquarters:
The Administrative Headquarters of NBRRI is at the moment located at: 
Plot 335 Gabes Street, Wuse Zone 2, Abuja. 
The office of the Director-General, the Planning Information and Production Department as well as the Finance and Administration Department are located in the Headquarters

Research Departments:
The three Research Departments namely, Building, Road and Engineering Materials Research Departments are all located at the over 60 hectares piece of virgin land at:
Km 10, Idiroko Road in Ota, Ogun State. 
All the Institute’s laboratories are located there.

Zonal offices:
In order to bring research results and innovations nearer the grassroot, the existing three Zonal offices are located as follows;

• The Eastern Zonal office is located at Nnewi, Anambra
   State
• The Western Zonal office is located at Lagos
• The Northern Zonal office is located at Kano
